Demand immediate arrest of criminals and suspension of Kavi Nagar’s SHO

The condition of the journalist who was shot at by unidentified assailants outside his house in Ghaziabad on Sunday is critical, the doctors said on Monday.

Anuj Chaudhary underwent a surgery to remove the bullets, a doctor at Yashoda Hospitals said, adding that his small intestine is damaged.

“The next five to six days are going to be crucial for Mr. Chaudhary... He is in ICU,” a senior doctor at Yashoda Hospitals said.

MP General V.K. Singh visited the hospital to enquire about Mr. Chaudhary’s condition.

At around 2 p.m., over hundred journalists staged protest outside the SSP and DM office demanding the arrest of criminals and suspension of Kavi Nagar SHO Samarjit Singh.
