NEW DELHI: Homebuyers of Unitech are demanding that the Supreme Court of India starts disbursal of the due amount it has received so far in its registry.Advocate Ashwarya Sinha representing a group of homebuyers said that with SC nearing closure of session in May, our appeal to the apex court is that the disbursal starts otherwise homebuyers will have to wait till July for further proceedings.
Amicus Curiae Pawan Shree Agarwal on Monday had informed the SC that disbursal of Rs 38 crore (+interest) is under process on pro-rata basis.
SC has also ordered Agarwal to publish public notice inviting any objections to sale of unecumbered properties of Unitech and its subsidiaries.
