Amber Heard is following through on her promise to hand the money she received from her Johnny Depp divorce settlement to charity after donating a huge sum to Children's Hospital Los Angeles.
The actress has landed on the organisation's 2017 Honor Roll list of donors after handing over between $1 million and $4.9 million.
The 'Aquaman' star and her ex-husband struck a $7 million settlement in their nasty divorce case back in 2016, and shortly after they agreed terms she promised to donate the entire settlement in equal parts to CHLA and the American Civil Liberties Union.
As part of the deal, Johnny donated $100,000 to each organisation in Amber's name and she planned to donate the rest when she got the full amount.
At the time, Amber explained she chose the ACLU with a particular focus to stop violence against women, and Children's Hospital because she had worked there as a volunteer for the last 10 years.
Depp and Heard's divorce drama ended in January, 2017, eight months after 'The Danish Girl' actress filed papers to end her 15-month marriage to the 'Pirates of the Caribbean' actor.
