The half-naked body of an unidentified woman, aged around 25 years, was found in a farm in Amer area in the city, police said today.
According to the preliminary investigations, the woman was strangulated to death last night.
A bag containing a saree and other clothes was also found near the body, police said, adding that efforts were on to identify the woman.
The body was spotted by locals who informed the police following which it was shifted to SMS hospital's mortuary, they said.
