James was the star performer for the Cavs once again in their 123-109 win over the New York Knicks.
With 26 points, six rebounds and 11 assists, James, who became the youngest player to reach 31,000 career points last week, was invaluable once again.
The 33-year-old also marked the occasion at Madison Square Garden by wearing his own personalised pair of trainers which had ‘I’m’ stitched on the left shoe and the right with ‘King’.
While he continues to astonish after 15 seasons in NBA, James has revealed the importance of his role for the Cavs.
My job is to be Tom Brady, Aaron Rodgers, Peyton Manning, be Drew Brees
“I’ve got to put time on target for my guys,” James said.
“Whether it’s a layup or a three or to open on the break.
“When they’re cutting and moving they do a great job.
