Omicron has released a range of LightHUB+ Plug&Play Laser Light Engines, equipped with up to six user-upgradable wavelengths in a compact and rugged design.
Wavelengths range between 375 and 1550 nm, and the optical output has the capability to power up to 300 mW per laser line. Over 30 wavelengths are available, and the fibre output can be coupled with singlemode, polarisation-maintaining fibres or multimode fibres.
There are also six analog and digital modulation inputs, as well as USB3 and RS232 interfaces, allowing for easy integration. The system is designed to be both passively and actively cooled, and there is an optional cooling unit available.
Applications include flow cytometry, confocal microscopy, optogenetics, test and measurement and machine vision.
