This ROGUE driver caused CARNAGE by ploughing into cars before fleeing scene
THIS is the moment a rogue driver veered out of control into parked cars before running off. Grimsby magistrates heard that James Baker failed to give way at a junction, ploughed into another car and then hit vehicles at the side of the road.

Baker, who lives in the town, fled the scene and called police from a phone box to claim his car had been stolen before the accident.
But the 24-year-old was charged after the episode was captured on surveillance cameras and traces of his DNA were found on his car airbag.
Accused of careless driving, failing to report and to stop after an accident and driving with no insurance or driving licence, he failed to show up for the hearing yesterday but was found guilty in his absence.
Baker was banned from driving for two years, given 10 days’ rehabilitation, fined £240 and ordered to pay £400 compensation and £85 costs.

Bench chairman Michael Williams said: “It really was a very dangerous thing to do.”
The other driver suffered whiplash and needed physiotherapy.
The court was told that the incident has affected her mentally and physically.
Ernie Lidster, mitigating, said the car was Baker’s “pride and joy” and added: “He panicked and he ran off.”
