Thomas Meunier says Everton are on a par with European heavyweights Borussia Dortmund and Valencia!
The 26-year-old Belgium international has struggled for game time at Paris Saint-Germain this season, with Dani Alves preferred since his free transfer from Juventus last summer.
Meunier said the Blues may be a step down from PSG but has compares them with the Bundesliga and La Liga giants report the Liverpool Echo .
In an interview with RTBF , Meunier said: “From a personal point of view, this season has been quite complicated.
“Compared to the game time received last year (I played 35 games), I’ve only played about 15 times. There is a bit of frustration. I want to play.”

Meunier says he will be patient but added: “What I want is to play football. I still have two years left of contract in Paris and my goal is to stay in Paris. We like it a lot.
“Go down a notch? What does that mean?
“It’s playing in a club in the style of Everton, Valencia or Dortmund. Michy Batshuayi made a very good choice by going there. The pleasure is to play football and that’s what I miss for now.”
Batshuayi has scored nine goals in 13 appearances on loan at Dortmund from Chelsea .
