AT the start of the season I chose 12 goal-getters across North Wales football who could emerge as major hotshots over the campaign.
Eight months into 2017/18 here's a progress report on the dynamic dozen.
NICKY WILLIAMS (Plas Madoc) - 41 goals!

Madoc are making a big push for the North East Wales League title and the goals of Nicky Williams will prove crucial if they are to achieve their aim.
After last weekend's matches the former Chirk AAA striker had netted 41 in all competitions for his new club.
Strike partner and brother Jamie Williams has also topped the 30-goals mark.
VERDICT: MASSIVE SUCCESS
TOM HADLEY (Holyhead Town)

Youngster Hadley, who netted 31 last season as Holyhead scooped an Anglesey League treble, has not been as prolific this term but has still made some important additions to Hotspur's goals tally.
Town currently lead the Gwynedd League, with the bulk of their goals this campaign coming from Asa Thomas (31) and Jordie Murphy (19).
Hadley remains a major prospect for the future of the club.
VERDICT: GOOD PROGRESS
DANNY BARLOW (New Brighton Villa)

Began the season at Brickfield Rangers where he scored a hat-trick on his debut.
Moved to New Brighton Villa earlier this year and has been the consistent goal-getter he is renowned as.
VERDICT: GOOD PROGRESS
CORRIG McGONIGLE (Conwy Borough) - 50 goals!

Reached 50 goals for his new club as they won the FAW Trophy Final last weekend.
Has made a stunning impact at Y Morfa as everyone knew he would, having hit 59 for previous Welsh Alliance champions Glantraeth last season.
Aged just 21, he has already amassed almost 250 goals in his senior career. A phenomenon.
VERDICT: SUPERHUMAN SUCCESS!
JOE CHAPLIN (Porthmadog) - 22 goals!

Chaplin and Porthmadog have fitted like a glove.
The talented front man is top-scorer for the Huws Gray Alliance club with 22 goals from just 21 starts in all competitions, including a dazzling hat-trick in a memorable 5-4 win at Rhyl.
In Porthmadog's current eight-season stint in the HGA, Chaplin is level with Josh Davies (2014/15) for the most goals in a campaign.
VERDICT: MASSIVE SUCCESS
MICHAEL LATHAM (Gresford Athletic)

Has been in magnificent net-finding form since joining Gresford from FC Queen's Park in October.
Latham has scored 16 goals in 20 appearances, including hat-tricks versus Llandudno Junction and Penrhyncoch. His latest treble guided Gresford into the Huws Gray Cup semi-final last weekend.
VERDICT: MASSIVE SUCCESS
JOHN LITTLEMORE (Holyhead Hotspur)

Joined Huws Gray Alliance Hotspur this season and despite the team's struggles for much of the campaign has reached double figures in the goal stakes and has earned admiration for his wholehearted displays in attack.
VERDICT: GOOD PROGRESS
STEVEN WHITTAKER (Bodedern Athletic) - 25 goals!

Top of Boded's goal charts with a fantastic 25 in all competitions for the Welsh Alliance Division Two high-flyers.
Tyco has banged in the goals wherever he has played, you know what you are going to get with this class act.
VERDICT: MASSIVE SUCCESS
JOSH DAVIES (Denbigh Town)

At Huws Gray Alliance level Josh is one of the best strikers around.
He is currently joint-fourth in the league's scorers list with 17 for Denbigh Town, who he has helped get into contention for a top-three finish.
VERDICT: MASSIVE SUCCESS
ROSS SUMNER (Rhydymwyn)
Not too many strikers have scored six goals on their debut, but that is what Sumner achieved for Rhydymwyn in the NEWFA Challenge Cup at the start of the season.
He also grabbed a great hat-trick against Overton last October, however, he has been unavailable recently due to work commitments and a period away travelling. He is now back in the UK and ready for the end-of-season run in with the Welsh National League Division One club.

VERDICT: GOOD PROGRESS
RICHARD ROBERTS (Aberffraw)

Not as prolific as in past seasons, but has still contributed some vital goals for a team which has shown plenty of promise in their debut season in the Welsh Alliance.
VERDICT: GOOD PROGRESS
MIKE CHAPMAN (Llandudno Amateurs)

Scored six in his first game for the Amateurs, but has been injured for much of the season.
However, he could return for the run-in where Sandy Malone's side are likely to be challenging for honours.
Chapman is one of the most natural goal-getters around.
VERDICT: GOOD PROGRESS
