Indian pugilists continued to display a rich vein of form at the Gold Coast as on Day 6 they assured five more medals for the country after booking their place in the semi-finals of their respective weight category on Tuesday.

After boxers and advanced into the last four of their respective weight category, Hussamuddin Mohammed, and also defeated their opponents to secure three more medals for

defeated Zambia's Everisto Mulenga 5-0 in the quarter-finals of the men's 56 kg category.

In another quarter-final clash, Veteran outplayed Australia's 4-1 in the 69 kg category. Kumar defeated the Australian 29-28, 27-30, 29-28, 30-27, 30-27 in a five round bout.

Satish Kumar, the in fray, beat of 4-1 in men's heavyweight (91kg) category.
