Treasury yields hold rise after wholesale prices
Treasury yields steady on Tuesday as bond investors await a reading on producer prices and as a global rally for assets perceived as risky suggested that fears over a trade conflicts between China and the U.S. eased further following a speech by China’s President Xi Jinping.
Treasury yields edge slightly higher, and prices slip, on Monday as trade tensions between the U.S. and China appear to be dialed back after helping spark a selloff to close out last week’s action on Wall Street.
Treasury prices rise on Friday, pushing yields lower, as President Donald Trump said he was considering tariffs on another $100 billion in Chinese goods, potentially heightening a trade spat between the U.S. and China.
