The exhibition is centred on the idea that memory is random, transient and sudden. A forgotten memory may suddenly swirl into existence with the hint of a recognisable scent or a fragment of an old, beloved song. Lapses consists of a series of artworks that lend memories their objecthood, saving them from being lost to our collective and personal histories.
