JD(S) activists staged a protest against the BBMP officials in the T Dasarahalli assembly constituency on Tuesday alleging that the officials were helping to create fake identity cards.
The protesters alleged that the fake identity cards were made for out-of-state students of private colleges around Dasarahalli.
They said that no action was taken in spite of bringing it to the officials' notice and wanted all the fake voters' names removed from the list for fair elections.
