Two girls identified as Hasboon Khatoon (13) and Tasreera Khatoon (15) died-- when black soil they were digging in fell on them in huge heap, leading to their instant death.
Incident occured two kilometers away from village Bouree under Chainpur police station on Monday said BDO Chainpur Sushil Rai.
The girls had gonse to collect black soil for their houses as one Muslim festival falls on Tuesday April 10. BDO said the families refused post mortem saying the deaths were most frank and open.
The girls had gone there with 6 other girls but these two proved luckless as they died under the heap of soil, that came over them when they were inside digging soil from within to get black soil.
DSP Surjit Kumar said, “police would take in writing the refusal for post mortem and the BDO Chainpur is to report on this issue as well.”
