HYDERABAD: Arguments concluded on Monday in the petition filed by Congress leaders Komatireddy Venkat Reddy and SA Sampath Kumar challenging their expulsion from the membership of the TS Assembly. The Hyderabad High Court reserved its orders in the case.

During course of hearing, Justice B Siva Sankara Rao observed, “It is for the Assembly to think whether to appear before the court to place its arguments. We will not insist them in this regard.. As for video footage recording, the advocate general has given an undertaking for submitting the same and we have recorded it. Hence, there is no need to argue on AG’s assurance.” After hearing both sides, the judge reserved his judgment for a later date.
