The patch notes may look a bit short given the implications of adding hooks for an entirely new expansion, but we strongly advise you to take a quick look at the Divisions changes linked above. The game’s entire class system has essentially been reworked to offer greater player agency, balance and ability no matter which Division you’re in. Most critically, all players now have the ability to sprint for an unlimited amount of time. Underused Divisions like the Mountain Division have also been buffed in major ways.
In addition to letting players customize their abilities to a greater degree, weapons can also express extra individuality with the addition of the Paintshop. As implied by its name, the Paintshop allows soldiers to alter their favorite guns with custom skins that suit their personality. Most of the designs aren’t canon to true World War II stylings, but they make multiplayer interactions a bit more exciting on offense and defense alike.
Call Of Duty: WWII version 1.13 is available now on PS4 and Xbox One. The PC version of the patch is expected to release April 17.
