In Manipur, Assam Rifles have recovered a huge cache of automatic weapons and other warlike stores in a joint operation with state Police Commandos in the last 48 hours.

A press statement issued by the PR Officer of the IG Assam Rifles(South) said, based on input from sources a search operation was launched on Sunday. It said three M-16 Rifles, five AK-56 Rifles and one A-4 Rifle along with UBGL and magazines were recovered from the lake area of Ishok Village under Nambol Police Station in Bishnupur District.
