WWE SmackDown Live Results: AJ Styles and Shinsuke Nakamura’s Feud Continues
The SmackDown Live after WrestleMania 34 will continue a lot of stories from the big show on Sunday, but the most intriguing has to be the growing feud between AJ Styles and Shinsuke Nakamura’s feud.
After AJ retained his WWE Championship, Nakamura took out his frustrations on the Phenomenal One with a deceitful low blow. Will we get an explanation for Nakamura’s actions? Will the two fight on Tuesday?
On the women’s side, Charlotte defeated Asuka to retain her belt but who will she feud against after breaking the streak? Carmella is still lurking in the back with her briefcase, will we finally get a MITB cash-in? So many questions.
Just like RAW, the SmackDown Live after WrestleMania will have some NXT call ups and likely surprise returns. The landscape of the WWE is about to change. Here’s everything that happened on the April 10 edition of SmackDown Live.

Here Are The SmackDown Live Results For April 10
Opening Segment
- Shane McMahon opens the show to congratulate the crowd for making WrestleMania 34 amazing, then announced Daniel Bryan will resign as SmackDown GM. His replacement will be Paige, a day after retiring from in-ring action the night before on RAW.
- Paige's first order of business is to make the main event AJ Styles vs Daniel Bryan.

The Usos vs The New Day
- Winner gets to face the Bludgeon Brothers for the SmackDown Tag Championships at the Greatest Royal Rumble.
- The Usos win via pinfall.
- Bludgeon Brothers come out as a warning to the Usos.
Naomi vs Natalya
- Naomi defeats Natalya.
Shinsuke Backstage Interview
- Shinsuke is asked why he gave AJ Styles a lowblow after their match and Nakamura says he doesn't know what came over him. He says he may have gotten very emotional and that he is sorry but he winks.
Charlotte Flair Segment
- Charlotte says that Asuka made her dig deeper and work harder than ever and she thanks her for it. Flair says she and Asuka made magic and she's looking for someone else to make magic with.
- The Iconic Duo answer the call. They say Charlotte and Asuka's match was great but not iconic and to stop looking at the past while you're looking at the future. Charlotte hits Billy Kay and the Iconic Duo gang up on her.
- Carmella comes out with her briefcase but the referee she brought out takes a lot of time. However, she cashes in and becomes the new SmackDown Women's Champion.
Bobby Roode vs Randy Orton vs Rusev
- Randy Orton wins via pinfall after hitting Bobby Roode with an RKO.
- Orton and Jinder Mahal will face off at Backlash for the US Title.
Backstage Interview with Carmella
- Carmella says she waited a long time to kick the queen off her throne. When asked about Peyton Royce and Billie Kay, Carmella says, "who?" and walkesout.
AJ Styles vs Daniel Bryan
- Shinsuke comes out and hits Daniel Bryan with a Kinchasa to cause a DQ. He then gives AJ Styles two more low blows before leaving.
