Rajasthan Congress chief Sachin Pilot today alleged that public hearings conducted by Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje in the state were a sham.
He said only those who had a token were allowed to take part in the chief minister's public hearing and it was yet another attempt to mislead common people.
In the last four days in Sikar, common people were kept away from public hearing. It is discrimination in the name of public hearing. Only those having a token given by government officials are allowed to take part in the event, Pilot said.
He accused the BJP government of pretending to redress people's problem by conducting public hearing.
"The BJP government neglected people for over last four years and is now holding public hearings in the election year," he said.
He exuded confidence that people of the state will give an apt reply to the government in the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly election.
