Talk on man-animal conflict by ecologist

BENGALURU : A talk ‘Elephant in the Room: Man-Animal Conflict in Bangalore's Fringe’ will be held by Avinash Krishnan from A Rocha India. The event is free of cost and will be held at Goobe's Book Republic on April 14. Avinash Krishnan, is a large mammal ecologist studying Asian elephants in the Bannerghatta National Park. He undertook his masters in Wildlife Management and Conservation at the University of Reading in the United Kingdom. He pioneered the use of camera trap technology in documenting the faunal diversity of the Bannerghatta National Park, and was instrumental in establishing the presence of the elusive Honey Badger in this region.
