Judy C. Lammers, 70, of Manchester, passed away from complications of Lewy body dementia on Sunday, April 8, 2018, at Finley Hospital in Dubuque.
She was born April 2, 1948, in Manchester, the daughter of Elmer and Sylveria "Toots" (Riesburg) Lammers. Judy was raised and educated in the Manchester area and was a 1966 graduate of Manchester High School. Judy worked at the Ertl Toy Co. in Dyersville for 10 years. She and her sister, Linda, started Beavers Lounge in Colesburg in 1977. They moved Beavers to Manchester in 1979 and have been in the current location since 1985. Judy retired in 2015.
Judy enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her nieces and nephews. She liked sports and enjoyed visiting with her customers. Judy was a longtime member of St. Mary Catholic Church.
Survivors include siblings, James Lammers, Dan (Carolyn) Lammers and Linda (Jim) Thole, all of Manchester; one sister-in-law, Lois Lammers of Manchester; many nieces and nephews; many great-nieces and great-nephews; and her many close friends at Beavers Lounge.
Judy was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Richard Lammers; a sister-in-law, Janice Lammers; and a nephew, Brian Lammers.

Mass of Christian Burial: 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 11, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Manchester with the Rev. John Kremer officiating. Visitation: 9 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 11, at the church. Interment: St. Mary Catholic Cemetery, Manchester. Leonard-Muller Funeral Home in Manchester is assisting the family.
