PANCHTHAR: Taplejung-XI came from a goal down to defeat hosts Panchthar Club 2-1 in the inaugural match of the second Wai Wai Falgunanda Gold Cup Football Tournament on Sunday.
Deepak Angbuhang and Yubraj Limbu scored a goal each for Taplejung after Sudeep Shrestha opened the scoring for Panchthar in the 10th minute. Angbuhang levelled the tally in the 31st minute and Limbu made it 2-1 in 69th minute.
A total of eight teams are competing in the event organised by Panchthar Club.
Top two teams will get Rs 305,000 and Rs 150,000 respectively.
