Police do not suspect foul play after a Harrison man missing since the end of last month was found dead in Roscommon County over the weekend.
William “Bill” Irwin Rouech Jr. was last seen March 26 at his own business, the Long Lake Party Store northeast of Harrison, according to his daughter.
By last week, Clare sheriff’s officials confirmed that Rouech was still missing and asked for information on his whereabouts.
“His cell phone was last on and usable in the Meredith Grade area in Gladwin County, just west of M-18,” his daughter said last week. “If anyone knows anything that could possibly help locate him, please contact me or the Clare County Sheriff’s Department.”
Sheriff’s officials said Rouech would periodically leave the area to travel and may have been headed to the Grayling area, but that it’s now been longer than normal for family and friends to not hear from him.
On Monday, the Clare Sheriff’s Office issued a media release updating on the investigation.
“Mr. Rouech was found deceased in Roscommon County. There is no suspected foul play. Sheriff Wilson would like to express his condolences to the family,” the release stated.
