Lewis Hamilton forced to defend himself after ANOTHER controversial Instagram post
LEWIS HAMILTON's antics on Instagram have once again landed himself in hot water.
The Brit deleted his Instagram account in December after captioning a video of his little nephew with “boys don’t wear princess dresses”.
The Formula One star has since returned to social media and has been very active, which pleases his loyal supporters.
But now the four-time world champion has been shrewd in controversy once again after he wrote “thank you, Jesus” on a post which confirmed grid girls were remaining at two circuits this season.
F1 owner Liberty Media banned grid girls for the 2018 campaign but promoters for the Monaco and Russian Grand Prixs have announced that they will remain at their events.

It was just a joke
Hamilton posted the cheeky message that he was glad the girls remained in the sport.
But he has since been forced to defend his action.
"It was just a joke," he said.
"I saw this publication about beautiful girls coming back and said, 'Thank you Jesus’.

“But honestly it doesn't interest me."
Hamilton has made a disappointing start to the 2018 season as Sebastian Vettel claimed wins in the first two races.
The Brit finished second in Australian and third in Bahrain at the weekend.
