What a Bugatti Chiron Grand Sport Would Look Like
It’s likely not going to happen, but the Bugatti Chiron would make a great convertible.
In July 2016, it was reported that Bugatti has no plans to drop the top on the Chiron, but that hasn’t stopped us from dreaming. This render gives us a real good idea of what the Chiron Convertible could look like, if Bugatti ever decides to change its mind.
It’s a rather odd move from Bugatti considering the Chiron’s predecessor, the Veyron, had a targa top Grand Sport variant. We’d like to believe if the customers come calling, Bugatti will have no choice but to produce a convertible model.

The news came from Bugatti’s marketing boss, Stefan Brungs, who simply said there would be “no roadster or convertible” version of the Chiron. He didn’t share any details as to why, just that the French automaker was focused on selling the allocated 500 units of the Chiron.
No new rumors have surfaced since, so for now, the Chiron Convertible will have to live on digitally.
