Vokkaligas plan to vote against Congress

BENGALURU: Even as Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has been doing his best to warm up to Vokkaligas, who form a strong vote base in Chamundeshwari constituency, the youths have decided to vote against Congress.

Members of Zilla Vokkaliga Yuva Vedike led by their president N Rajkumar on Saturday resolved to vote against Siddaramaiah’s party in the ensuing elections.

They also made an earnest appeal to the community to show their strength against Siddaramaiah, who has been nursing a grudge against the community that once played a key role in shaping his political career, he said.
