Kings XI Punjab opener Lokesh Rahul on Sunday slammed the fastest half-century in the history of the Indian Premier League as he hammered Delhi Daredevils attack all over the IS Bindra Stadium in Mohali.
Rahul hit 4 sixes and 6 boundaries on his way to a 14-ball 51.

Chasing a target of 167, Rahul started attacking the Delhi bowlers starlight away. He was later dismissed by Trent Boult on 51. But his knock at the beginning set the platform for Punjab's chase.
The earlier record of fastest fifty was held by Sunil Narine of Kolkata Knight Riders, who took 15 balls to reach to his half-century.
The next on the list if Yusuf Pathan, who also took 15 balls.
