Jet Airways plane hits catering truck at IGI airport

A Jet Airways plane with over 130 passengers and crew onboard collided with a catering truck at the Indira Gandhi International (IGI) airport in New Delhi on Sunday evening.

As the Jet Airways flight 9W 545 from Dubai was approaching a parking bay after landing at 8 p.m., its right wing collided with a stationary catering vehicle, according to airport sources.

No injuries have been reported so far. 

"While all 125 guests and 8 crew members deplaned safely, the B737 aircraft is currently being inspected by the airline’s technical team," the airline said in a statement.

It added that it is probing the incident and that it has also informed the regulatory body DGCA about the matter.
