Uk weather forecast: Britain prepares for April Showers as temperatures drop to 12C
THE UK’s brief warm weather spell is set to end this week and temperatures will be around 12C in the next few days with cloud and rain expected, especially in the south and east of the country.

The UK enjoyed a warm Saturday with the highest temperature felt at Gravesend-Broadness in Kent of 19.4C and London was even hotter than Barcelona.
However, rain is set to arrive on Sunday night in central, southern and eastern England as well as cloud fog.

It will be a mainly cloudy day with some light winds with light showers expected, especially in the evening.
It is set to be cloudy on Tuesday and Wednesday as well with rain spreading northwards.
Forecasters have predicted rain to hit north Wales and north England on Tuesday.

The weather will pick up on Wednesday with highs of around 16C.
Thursday should be a dry day for most of the country, but rain showers should return in the afternoon and evening.
On Sunday night, BBC Weather tweeted: “Monday’s looking grey and damp for many southern areas but skies should be brighter in the northern and the west, albeit with a scattering of showers.”

Net weather has warned that the North Seat coastal continues will suffer from cold weather as the week progresses.
The website has reported that “anticyclonic weather types are expected to be more frequent during this week”.
The Met Office has not put any weather warnings in place for this week.
