SBI CGM Praveena Kala, staff in Heritage Walk

BHUBANESWAR: The corporate team of State Bank of India participated in the Ekamra Walks here on Saturday. SBI, CGM Praveena Kala and other employees of the bank took part in the Old Town Circuit walk. "I have attended heritage walks before in Mumbai, but it was about the colonial architecture of British era. Exploring about our own cultural heritage, monuments and the unique temple building style and architecture of the Kalingan era was very interesting," Kala said.

Another group of heritage walkers joined the Monks, Caves and Kings at Khandagiri and Udayagiri to explore the Jain heritage sites, among others. Matjaz Kovse of Maribor in Slovenia was one of the participants. The officials informed that foreign nationals, including Kovse, of about 28 countries have so far participated in the heritage walk.Kovse, who is the first Slovenian to participate in the heritage walk, said it was an interesting experience.
