Pogba starred for Manchester United in their 3-2 win over rivals Manchester City yesterday.
The Frenchman scored twice in the second half to help turn the game on its head after the hosts led 2-0.
Both his goals came from him pushing on from midfield and Redknapp believes that is one of his best strengths.
“If you’ve got someone who’s six foot three plus and going to keep arriving in the box and you’ve got to keep track of him, it becomes very difficult,” Redknapp said on Sky Sports.
“Especially when they are so good in the air and I think he’s unstoppable when he does that. Maybe he has been trying too hard.
I still believe, and he’s been criticised by everybody, I believe there’s a genuine talent there
“I still believe, and he’s been criticised by everybody, I believe there’s a genuine talent there.
“People are talking about the resurgence of him now, is this going to hopefully get his career at Manchester United going?”
United stopped City from winning the Premier League yesterday after their incredible comeback.
Paul Pogba has received plenty of praise since the win but Redknapp believes it was more important for manager Jose Mourinho.

“I feel for Jose Mourinho it was even bigger,” the ex-Liverpool midfielder added.
“Because if you’re on the back of a three or four nil loss there, it’s a long way back because they’re your arch rivals, the team everyone is trying to aspire to be like, so for him it was such a big result.
“And for the league, because I think it shows that Man United know that, Tottenham I think as well, Liverpool this week have shown that they’re not invincible.
“You can get after this City side, even though he didn’t have some of their best players playing yesterday.”
