Police are investigating after a man was knocked down late at night.
The collision happened at around 10pm off Dundonald Avenue in Abergele.
Today, officers and forensics teams were out in force carrying out an investigation.
They could be seen placing evidence markers on the road surface and later using vehicles to carry out skid tests on the road surface.
Much of the investigation focused around the area outside the Old Vicarage, near the gift shop on Groes Lwyd.

It is not known whether the driver of the vehicle was apprehended, as North Wales Police declined to give any information other than to confirm they were at the scene.

But a Welsh Ambulance Service spokesman said: "We were called to a car accident on Groes Lwyd, Abergele at 21.59 last night.
"One ambulance was sent to the scene and an adult male was take to Glan Clwyd Hospital with non-life threatening injuries."
