LUDHIANA: Reacting over the demand raised by the AAP MLA and leader of opposition Sukhpal Khaira to conduct CBI inquiry into the alleged controversy among three DGPs of the state, Congress MP Ravneet Bittu on Sunday advised him to mind his own business.

Bittu was attending a program organised by the Ludhiana Youth Congress to honour the newly-elected Mayor Balkar Sandhu, senior deputy mayor Sham Sunder Malhotra and deputy mayor Sarabjit Kaur on Sunday.

Bittu said that the chief minister Captain Amarinder Singh himself is looking into this matter and he is there to resolve such issues. He questioned the authority of Khaira for raising this demand. He said the issue will be resolved within one week.

Director general of police (HRD) Siddharth Chattopadhyaya had accused DGP Suresh Arora and DGP (Intelligence) Dinkar Gupta of trying to drag his name in the suicide case of the son of a former Chief Khalsa Dewan president in the Punjab and Haryana high court. Khaira had demanded removal of Arora and Gupta along with a CBI inquiry into the matter.
