Party leaders speak at celebrations marking its foundation day

India is progressing rapidly and emerging as a force to reckon with due to the effective leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, BJP leaders asserted in the party’s foundation day celebrations in Kadapa on Friday.

The policies adopted by former Prime Minister A.B. Vajpayee in the past and Mr. Modi at present helped the party gain power in 20 States, BJP Kadapa district president P. Srinath Reddy said after hoisting the party flag in the BJP office in Kadapa.

The party instituted on April 6, 1980, was committed to principles, discipline and able leadership, he added.

Mr. Reddy called upon the party rank and file to gear up to counter the malafide propaganda unleashed by the Opposition parties. BJP city president P. Yerikalappa, BJYM State vice-president Chalama Reddy, State committee member Jaya Srinivas, district general secretary P. Sambasiva Reddy, treasurer M. Satish, Mahila Morcha, district president S. Bhavani Reddy, State Council member G. Saraswathamma, district secretary Pushpavathamma and others were present.

Celebrations in Kurnool

The BJP will emerge victorious in the Karnataka Assembly elections, BJP State vice-president K. Kapileswaraiah and former MLA Katasani Rambhupal Reddy claimed on Friday.

Speaking at the 38th BJP foundation day celebrations after hoisting the party flags near the I-Town police station, Krishnanagar and other areas in Kurnool city, he claimed that the party which had only two Parliament seats in the past emerged as the single largest party to gain power at the Centre due to its discipline and principles.

They called upon the party cadre to propagate the BJP government’s developmental and welfare schemes among the people. Kurnool city BJP president Yoganand Chowdary, State committee members Rangaswamy, Sudhakar and B.V. Subba Reddy, general secretary K. Narasimha Varma, BJYM State secretary Kasi Viswanath, Mahila Morcha leaders Hemalatha Reddy and Latha Madhuri and leaders Suryaprakash, Wahab, Madanmohan Achari and Umamaheswarappa were present.
