A team of Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) of Dhanbad arrested a Supply Officer of Chas Block for taking bribe in Bokaro on Friday.
The ACB team arrested Shivendu Sekhar, Supply Officer of Chas block, while he was taking a bribe of Rs 12,000 at his Kunwar Singh colony based residence in Chas. Later the sleuths ferried him for further interrogation.
On the complaint of Shiv Shankar Rai, the vigilance sleuths arrested Shivendu red-handed; he was taking a bribe for renewal of licence of a PDS shop, ACB official said.
The team also recovered more than Rs 50,000 cash from his house, sources said.
