British authorities prepare for the Skripals to leave hospital

British police are drawing up elaborate plans to guarantee the safety of the victims of the Salisbury poisoning once they have been discharged from hospital.

A Government source told The Sunday Telegraph that the British authorities had a “duty of care” to both Sergei Skripal and his daughter, Yulia, as they continued to recover after being poisoned with a Russian-made nerve agent.

There are serious concerns that the pair’s lives remain at risk after their attempted murder in Wiltshire last month.
