Flights from Jalandhar's Adampur domestic airport to start from May 1

JALANDHAR: The much-awaited domestic flights from Adampur domestic airport will start from May 1 as private airliner SpiceJet will start the booking tickets from April 14.
Divulging the details, Jalandhar deputy commissioner Varinder Kumar Sharma said that the airport is all set for inauguration as the entire civil work has already been completed. He said that the visitor and VIP lounge are also ready along with high-powered X-ray machines.

"The operator has already started setting up its paraphernalia at the airport to start the booking of tickets on April 14, the birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna Dr BR Ambedkar," he said.
