Blitzboks on track after Scotland triumph

Cape Town - The Springbok Sevens team have cruised to victory against Scotland in their Pool C encounter at the Hong Kong Sevens on Saturday.

The Blitzboks, who led 14-10 at the break, won 31-17.

Springbok Sevens stand-in coach Marius Schoeman's charges ran in five tries against their Scottish counterparts.

This is a second-string South African team, with the first-choice side on Commonwealth Games duty on Australia's Gold Coast.

In their first Pool C match on Friday, the Blitzboks romped to a 45-0 victory over South Korea.

Later on Saturday, the Blitzboks face England (10:24) in their final Pool C encounter.
