Two dead in fire at footwear factory in Delhi

Two men from died in a fire at a plastic footwear factory in industrial area today, police said.

The deceased have been identified as Vinay, 33, who worked at the factory, and his friend Kuldeep, 25, a said.

A call about the fire was received at 2.32 am and seven fire tenders were rushed to the spot. The firefighters found two men on the first floor of the factory, said an of the Fire Services.

Police said the men, who sustained burn injuries, were rushed to where they were declared dead by doctors.
