Jeeva to star in  ‘Swathandryam  Ardharathriyil’ remake

A Tamil remake of the Malayalam hit Swathandryam Ardharathriyil, which came out in Kerala last week, is on the way. According to director Tinu Pappachan, who will also helm the Tamil remake, Jeeva is slated to play the role played by Anthony Varghese (Angamaly Diaries) in the original.It's not yet been confirmed who will play Vinayakan's role but there is a chance that he might play the same character in the Tamil version too.

The director has confirmed that talks are already going on and that nothing has been set in stone.Swathandryam Ardharathriyil is the debut of Pappachan, who assisted Angamaly Diaries director Lijo Jose Pellisserry beginning with City of God and has also worked on Lijo's upcoming film, Ee.Ma.Yau.
