Valuables worth Rs 95,000 burgled from house in Bhopal

Valuables worth Rs  95,000 were burgled from a house near municipal corporation office under Jehangirabad police station area on Thursday.

The victim Noorjehan Ashraf had gone to her neighbours in the afternoon and when she returned, the house was found burgled.

In her complaint with the Jehangirabad police victim stated that she had gone to her nieghbours after locking the door and when she returned after around an hour the lock of the door was found broken and when she entered the house almirah having the valuables was found broken and valuables were missing.

The victim after checking the valuables found that the gold and silver jewelries and cash were burgled. The total loss in the burglary was around Rs 1 lakh.

The police have registered a case under section 454 and 380 of the IPC and have started further investigation.

Meanwhile, a bag carrying Rs  50000 cash was burgled from a car parked at Peergate under Kotwali police station area on Thursday.

The victim Brijesh Rai found that bag having Rs  50000 was stolen from his parked car when he returned after work.

A complaint was lodged with the Kotwali police and in his complaint victim stated that he parked his car near Peergate and when he returned bag was found stolen.

The police have registered a case under section 379 of the IPC and have started further investigation.

The car was not damaged to pick the bag and door was opened by miscreants to steal the bag. The CCTV installed in the nearby areas would be investigated.
