Texas County Official Stole $35,000 to Pay Off Dominatrix: Police
The first assistant treasurer in Harris County, Texas, is accused of stealing more than $35,000 from a credit union that serves county employees to pay off a dominatrix who threatened to blackmail him.
Gregory Lueb, 56, was charged with felony theft Friday after allegedly using funds from the union to pay off his credit card debt and a woman he met on S&M site Collarspace, according to court documents cited by ABC affiliate KTRK.
He reportedly posted bond and was released from jail Friday.
According to court documents Lueb opened a credit card account for the credit union account and quickly maxed out its $10,000 limit with cash advances. He is accused of using payments from other people’s accounts to cover the advances.
Using online payments and cash advances Lueb was reportedly able to obtain more than $35,000 from the account.
The money was used to pay off a dominatrix called Mistress Candy, who had demanded that he pay her or face the consequences, Lueb told police.

“We don’t know if the dominatrix exists or not,” Harris County District Attorney Kim Ogg told the Houston Chronicle. “The more salacious points are obvious in Mr. Lueb’s admissions, but whether they are true or not is really beside the point. We know he was stealing money from Harris County employees because it’s our money in the credit union.”
If convicted, Lueb faces up to two years in prison.
“Shocked and dismayed,” Harris County Treasurer Orlando Sanchez told KTRK, and said Lueb is a husband, father and Boy Scouts leader. “He’s a gentleman that worked in our office and had access to quite a bit of county funds. It appears his personal life went off the rails.”
