Telangana CM assures help for CPI(M) national conference

K Chandrasekhar today assured necessary support and help from the for the CPI(M)'s five-day national conference here from April 18.

CPI(M) member B V Raghavulu and CPI(M) state secretary met here, a release from the chief minister's office said.

The CPI(M) leaders told that the conference would be held in the city for five days from April 18 in which Kerala and former chief ministers of and Tripura, besides other national leaders would take part, it said.

"The CPI(M) requested for help and cooperation from the government for the proposed conference. For this, the chief minister positively responded and extended all the required help and cooperation. The CPI(M) leaders thanked the CM for the same," it said.

Rao, who has recently favoured forging a non-Congress, non-BJP alternative in national and bringing a qualitative change in politics, explained the cause to the CPI(M) leaders, it said.

"The CPI(M) leaders have agreed with the views. They also appreciated the CM for taking an initiative to being in qualitative change in the country. They said there is a need for a change in the countrys political scenario," the release added.
