The body of a 22-year-old woman was found stuffed in a bag near the Kali river here, they said.
It is suspected that she was murdered and her body was thrown in the river, police said.
In another incident, a woman allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself from a ceiling fan at her house in the Civil Lines area, police said.
In Morna village, the body of a 22-year-old male domestic help was found hanging from a tree in an area under Bhopa police station, police said.
The police are investigating whether he committed suicide or was killed.
In Kukda village, a 45-year-old man allegedly committed suicide by consuming poison, they said.
The bodies were sent for post mortem yesterday. The matters are being investigated, police said.
