Dacoity: DCIB arrests five

The District Crime Investigation Bureau arrested five persons on the charge of attempting dacoity at Kollaje village in Puttur Rural police station limits.

The police said the arrested are Pramod Sharma, 33, Ankush Raj, 27, Tun Tun Kumar, 24, Karan Kumar, 19, and Prince Kumar, 19, all from Bihar. The police said the DCIB found them roaming around in a suspicious manner on Thursday night.

The police recovered machetes, an iron rod, chilli power packets, and gloves.
