Juvenile to be sent to special home in Visakhapatnam

VIJAYAWADA: Juvenile Justice Board Judge B Rajeswari directed the officials to send one juvenile accused in a POCSO case to the special home in Visakhapatnam for two years on Friday.The juvenile accused belongs to Boddivanigudem under Pamidimukkala police station limits. He sexually assaulted a minor girl of the same village on May 9, 2016, when she was alone at her home.

Following the complaint of girl’s grandmother, Pamidimukkala police inspector Murali Krishna registered a case under Section 4 of POCSO Act and arrested the youth.He was later produced before the court.
The judge cross-examined 12 witnesses, before pronouncing the judgement.
