Delhi Police has arrested three persons from Himachal Pradesh in connection with CBSE 12th Class economics paper leak case.
The three accused are said to be masterminds of the paper leak case and have been brought to Delhi.
Briefing reporters, Special Commissioner of Police, Crime Branch, R P Upadhyay said, out of the three, one accused is a teacher in DAV Centenary Public School in Una District of Himachal Pradesh and was the Centre Superintendent at Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya at Una.
While the second person is a clerk and the other is a peon in the same school. Mr Upadhyay said, a hand-written copy of the economics paper was leaked through Whatsapp, two days before the actual examination which was to be held on 26th of March.
The accused, who was the Centre Superintendent, was assigned to collect the Computer Science paper from the bank. The accused also took a small bundle of Economics paper along with the Computer science paper.
The other two accused photographed the economics paper and sent it to him. Later a hand-written question paper went viral on Whatsapp.
Earlier, the police had arrested three persons from Delhi in the paper leak case. The CBSE has announced to re-conduct the class 12 economics exam throughout the country.
