I took this photograph from the kitchen window last Sunday morning (April 1).
It shows just 10 quail feeding from a seed block but out of the photograph were at least another 20 quail and six or seven rabbits with not a hunter in sight.
As one can see from the surrounding vegetation, I was not in Gozo. Such sport is not to be had in Malta.
