The 15th Finance Commission has started its state tour from Arunachal Pradesh. The team, led by Shaktikanta Das, is on a four-day visit to Arunachal Pradesh starting from yesterday to Sunday.
The Commission team had a series of meetings and deliberations with the State Government, political parties and other stakeholders.
Shaktikanta Das, in a press conference in Itanagar today, said that Arunachal Pradesh has a lot of opportunities to invest more, spend more or to take initiatives for further development.
The Finance Commission will submit its report to the President on October 31, 2019, after holding meetings and interactions with all the state governments and concerned Ministries.
