Adultery case against Nama

The city police on Friday registered a case of adultery against senior TDP leader and former Khammam MP Nama Nageswara Rao.

According to the FIR filed by the Jubilee Hills police, Rao had an illicit relationship with a woman.

The FIR was filed after the woman’s husband, C. K. Ramakrishnan, lodged a complaint, charging the former MP with having an extra-marital affair with his wife. Mr. Ramakrishnan claimed that Mr. Rao had frequently visited his house in Jubilee Hills and was forcing him to divorce his wife. The complainant works at a shipyard in the USA and used to visit the city once or twice a year.

In October last year, a case was registered against Mr. Rao in the same police station on a complaint by a woman whom he had allegedly threatened that he would make public her personal pictures when she had questioned Mr. Rao about his alleged affair with a former Karnataka legislator.
